About
About
I. Important
The menstrual pain simulator is based on electrical muscle stimulation (EMS/TENS) technology.
This type of device uses a standardized technical base , historically designed for various uses of muscle stimulation and massage.
This is why some fashion titles may refer to other areas of the body (acupuncture, massage, etc.).
👉 These names correspond to patterns of electrical impulses , and not to actual anatomical use.
As part of our awareness-raising activities, the simulator is used as an experiential tool , over a short period (approximately 1 to 2 hours per session), in order to reproduce the sensation of menstrual cramps.
II. Recommended methods for raising awareness of menstrual pain
After testing and adjustments, three modes were selected and adapted for this specific use.
These are the only modes we recommend for workshops, training sessions and events.
🔹 Mode 1 — Gradual activation
(Acupuncture Kneading Massage)
- Intensity that gradually increases
- Allows you to simulate the onset of the first contractions
- Ideal for starting a session and accompanying the build-up of sensation
🔹 Mode 2 — Rhythmic Contractions
(Fibrillation Massage)
- Regular and continuous pulse
- Reproduces established menstrual cramps
- Most commonly used mode during demonstrations
🔹 Mode 3 — Intense and localized contractions
(Lifting-Pinching Manipulation)
- More pronounced and targeted impulses
- Simulates sharp, intermittent pain spikes
- For use over short periods, with supervision
👉 These three modes were selected for their sensory coherence with menstrual pain, and their effectiveness in an educational and safe setting.
III. Scope of Use
- Recommended use: short, supervised sessions
- Intensity adjustable according to the audience
- The simulator is not a medical device
- It is used exclusively as a tool for raising awareness and understanding
All other features of the device are not necessary for this use.

*Our device is presented as a menstrual pain simulator for educational purposes. However, it is important to note that no device can faithfully reproduce real menstrual pain, which originates from complex internal processes (uterine contractions, hormonal reactions, deep pain). Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) only affects surface muscles, creating contractions and unpleasant sensations that partially mimic the discomfort experienced, without exactly reproducing reality. This product is not a medical device and should be used solely for learning purposes.
